Spa Cover Measurement Guide
We recommend printing a copy of the Guide to take with you out to your spa to fill in. Click to print a copy of the measurement guide.
1. Should I measure my cover or my spa?
We recommend measuring your spa to the extreme outside edge of the acrylic. Do not include the surrounding wood in the measurement. If you measure the cover and it is waterlogged, warped, or misshapen in any way, your measurements will be incorrect.
Disclaimer: We guarantee your cover will be a perfect fit and manufactured to within 1" of the measurements you give us. Please make sure to review the measurements to ensure accuracy before completing your order. If you have ANY questions, please call us at 800-772-2683.
2. Where should I measure?
First, measure your dimensions based on the installation type that best matches your own. Remember to measure to the outside edge of the acrylic of the spa and not include the wood.

3. How should I measure it?
Measure each requested dimension in inches at the widest point. The rule of thumb is that if a cover is a little too big, it will probably work fine. If it’s a little too small, it probably won’t. In cases where your measurements are close to a perfect square (e.g. 96.5″ x 96″), it probably is.
To determine the direction of the fold, take note of the side that the handle is on ("A" or "B" as shown in the diagrams below). The handle is used to open the cover so if the handle is on side "A" and the fold bisects side "B", then the fold is vertical. If the handle is on side "B" and the fold bisects side "A", then the fold is horizontal.
Select your spa cover type from the images below and then measure the dimensions required and fill in the corresponding sections. When you order on-line transfer the measurements to the order form.

A spa cover skirt is the portion of your fabric that extends down from your cover bottom and overlaps the top of your spa. Cover skirts help protect the acrylic part of your spa from UV damage so it's important that they hang down enough to cover the acrylic. The skirting also helps center the cover on the spa. If the cover is too large it can slide around. If the skirting is too long and covers the wood and the cover is not centered on the spa, then it may gather at the wood lip and lift the cover enough to cause heat to escape.
